This RS6 Avant is a 1-owner, clean Carfax monster, finished in a rare Sebring Black Crystal Effect. It is in beautiful condition and drives like a dream. It's powered by Audi's 4.0L twin-turbo V8 making 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft, sent through quattro all-wheel drive and an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission. Its options include the factory carbon ceramic brake package, the Carbon Optic trim package, the Driver Assistance package, and the Sport Exhaust. This California only car was recently serviced at Audi Santa Barbara and Audi San Diego - this included an oil change and a fresh set of tires. In addition, the instrument cluster recall was completed. Note the cluster has been completely replaced, some dealers perform a workaround instead which fails again later on.

The photos you see don't fully capture the Sebring Black Crystal Effect color. Under flat light it reads as a clean, deep black — but in the sun, it comes alive, with a glass-like depth and subtle blue undertones running through metallic flakes. The Carbon Optic package adds carbon fiber to the front splitter, mirror covers, side skirts, and rear diffuser. The same theme is carried into the cabin with a carbon fiber dash, door trim, and center console accents.

The RS6 rides on its factory 22" trapezoid-design wheels, finished in anthracite black. They are wrapped in a brand new set of Continental ExtremeContact tires.

Inside, black leather with red contrast stitching covers power-adjustable front Sport seats with both heating and cooling. The car is equipped with Audi's Virtual Cockpit digital instrument display, MMI navigation with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the Driver Assistance package — adaptive cruise assist, traffic sign recognition, traffic sense, and intersection assist. A power panoramic sunroof and power-operated rear liftgate round out the everyday livability.

The car is fitted with the Sport Exhaust, giving it a deeper, more resonant note than the standard setup — one of the details that separates a well-optioned RS6 from the rest.

The twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 pairs with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system for 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, sent through an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. The engine bay is almost as clean as when it left the factory. The recent service included an oil change.

The most desired factory option is no doubt the carbon ceramic brakes. The front consists of massive 440mm front rotors clamped by dedicated 10-piston calipers while the rear is configured with 370mm rotors. Compared to the standard steel brakes, the ceramic rotors save a significant amount of weight and give the car more overall agility. They're also built to withstand 900°C+ and produce minimal brake dust vs. the standard configuration. All this while lasting 100,000-150,000 miles under normal street use, which means it is very unlikely you would ever need to replace them.
